今天上午，我在火炬学校参加了青少年英语比赛，我怀着紧张的心情，走进了考场。
比赛之前，监考老师讲完规则后，每人发了三张试卷，其中一张答题卡，两张题目，铃声一响，比赛正式开始。
环节一：听力和默写。考生们纷纷拿出笔，做好了听写准备，监考老师在上面报单词，每个报两遍，考生在下面默写，过十几秒继续下一个单词。考生们都聚精会神在下面听和写，一个字也不说，安静得连考生的呼吸声都能听见，时间过得很快，不一会儿第一环节结束了。
环节二：笔试。第一题是选则题，我觉得比较简单，紧张的心情稍稍放松了一些。轻松的答题，很快便答完了。第二题是根据已知的问句用英语写答句，我看了很久，有点懵了，因为问句我看都看不懂，又没人问，根本做不出，结束铃声响了，到最后不得已放弃。
我真希望这次比赛能取得好成绩!

班主任老师对这次活动很重视，说一是能够让我们的能力在此得到锻炼，二是能够增加我们之间的友谊。因此，从那天开始，我们班的同学，就开始了“魔鬼”训练；老师把体育课让出来，给我们练歌；音乐老师不顾疲劳帮我们设计动作，并且经常强调“笑容”、“动作”、“表情”这几个词，每练一次同学们都是满头大汗，气喘吁吁。就这老师还嫌不够呢！有时候，一个礼拜也上不了几节体育课，渐渐的，同学们开始有些不耐烦了，有的甚至开始抱怨：真烦，又练！听了这话，老师也有些火了：切，你们还烦？你当我想给你们练呀！但是，经过了一段时间，我们也渐渐的.理解了老师的良苦用心，不再抱怨了。
1个月过去了，同学们的嗓音以及动作有了明显的提高。而且，比赛的日子已经近在咫尺了
终于到了比赛的那一天。早上一来，有人就开始互看同学们的衣裳，评论起来。下午，老师正在给女生们化妆，我们男生一下子兴奋起来了，到处乱窜，左看看右看看。忽然，只听见我们班的大粗嗓门－高云鹏大喊一声：“站队！”同学们马上就跟逃命似的，慌乱地找到自己的位置，还没站好，只听班主任说：“上楼站队！”我的心马上悬了起来；练了1个月，就为了5分钟！
到了楼上，往里面一看：校长和副校长都在里面。“稍息，立正，进场！”我们马上带着笑容，进入了舞台。
“让我们荡起双浆”随着优美的伴奏，我慢慢地进入状态，心里没有任何杂念，全身心地投入，完完全全的像在划船，推开了波浪，有种人在画中游的感觉、飘飘然、心情舒畅，一开始的紧张全没有了。出色地完成了演出，而且在场的评委们给我们抱以最热烈的掌声，欢送着我们走出舞台。
其实，这次活动主要是锻炼大家的团结意识和互相配合的能力。活动结束后，同学们的心情是比较复杂的。有的高兴；喜欢往好处想，说最多也就得一个特等奖。但是有的就喜欢往坏处想。
成绩下来了，我们班的了一个全校第2。然而老师并没有那么兴奋，而是总结了一下：“我觉得，这次活动是非常有意义的；这不仅可以见证同学们的团队精神，也可以锻炼嗓子。我们总是说努力第一，友谊第二，成绩第三。假设说我们这次没能取得好成绩，至少我们已经尽了全力，没有什么遗憾之出。而且还会更加深我们的友谊，我也相信，通过这次的活动，同学们在以后的集体中会更加团结，会学会互相帮助。”
