脚一踏进菜市，便是站在两行菜篮子的中间。菜篮里的菜，或是多得顶尖，或是少得可怜。菜篮的后面，总有一双渴望的目光。只要你在某个摊位迟疑一会，那目光便向你投来：“买菜吗？”那目光，那声音，近乎乞求，使我不忍接触。若是你点点头，那目光便立即变成欣喜和兴奋。接着，便手忙脚乱地忙着拣菜。然而买菜的人多自己动手，这时，卖菜人的手便多余了。在空中顿了一下，然后，慢慢地缩回去，眼睁睁地看着自己的菜被买菜人翻得乱七八糟。若是你摇摇头走了，你背后的目光便暗淡下来。如果你仔细点，定会听到一声淡淡的.叹息。此时，我总是觉得他们好可怜。不买他们的菜，仿佛做了一件亏心事。
还价是常有的事。买菜人心想：“你往天上抬价，我就往地上压价。”于是乎：“这菜多少钱一斤？”
“两毛五。”
“这也值两毛五？两毛吧？”
“早上我还卖三毛呢，两毛五不贵，看这菜多新鲜啊！”
“两毛吧，就差五分钱，何必计较呢？”
“不行啊。”卖菜人不甘愿。
“哼，不卖就算了。”买菜的抬腿就要走。
“喂，请等一下。”卖菜的人着急了，只好咬咬牙，将最不愿的话喊了出来，尔后无力地说：“两毛就两毛吧。”
买菜的满意了，慢悠悠地转过身，慢条斯理地拣着菜。挑了半天，又将菜上的水甩了甩，才拿给卖菜的称。
每到这时，我总是庆幸自己不是卖菜的。我一直在亲人的呵护下成长，卖菜的那份艰辛我无法想象。对他们，我常常流露出一种同情。
我渐渐知道了人与人之间的不平等。同样地播种，却有异样的收获。所以，人与人越来越难相处，越来越不愿相助！

I went to school at 14:00. In the afternoon, I had four classes: music, biology, and two periods of Chinese. I liked Chinese, too, because Chinese is our national language and it's very beautiful.
