端午节前夕，老师对我们说：“在菖蒲节这天，你们要带上香包、五彩绳；在家门前放上艾草；吃粽子、米糕；喝雄黄酒；这样会驱凶避邪。”我本想买一些五彩绳，香包，可有想了一想，以前妈妈教我做过香包，也许做个香包更有意义！
首先，我从集市上买来一些艾叶草，由于天气炎热，两天以后就晒干了。然后，我把艾叶摘下来碾细，做成渣末。这样，我就完成了做香包的第一步。
我找来一些稍硬的纸板，画六个半正方形，按照画痕折叠出一个小三角包的样子，再把碾碎的艾叶粉装入其中，最后把纸板折成粽子的形状，就可以进行“装饰”了！
我先取出毛线，把线的一端用针插入粽子里面，用手轻轻摁住，顺着粽子的三个角环绕一周后，便可以固定住线头了，接着用再缠绕几周。如果你喜欢多种颜色，便可以用同样的方法搭配着换线的颜色。一直按着顺序缠绕毛线，最后用针穿进粽子中心收尾。
最后一步就是制作流苏了！首先将丝线在一个长条纸板上缠绕几圈，一端用针线固定住，取下丝线。接着把丝线的另一端用剪刀剪断，这样，一个精美的流苏就做好了。
最后，把流苏缝在粽子底部，再配上挂绳和吊坠，将粽子香包佩戴在身上，我的心里真是像吃了蜜一般甜，艾叶的香味弥漫着我，既驱凶避邪，又漂亮独特！
