一个寒假，三周不到的休息时间，忙里偷闲，把学校规定的教师必读图书《做最受学生欢迎的教师》慢慢地读完了。
其实，这本书虽然看起来有厚厚的一本，页数是190页，其实字数也不过十几万字，估计是14-15万字左右。如果按照我平时阅读小说的兴趣，一天也能把它看完了。读十几天，足以看完多十倍的文字。但是，这样的专业书籍确实需要慢慢阅读的，囫囵吞枣阅读的效果并不好，边读边想边思考边回味，每天抽一点时间翻阅上几页，积少成多，当做休闲书来读，也看完了。
总体评价：感想不是太多，收获也不是太大，没有像前言所说的“用大量鲜活真实的案例说理，让你在阅读中思考，在思考中比较，在比较中发现，在发现中领悟，在领悟中成长”。看看作者，是中学一级的英语老师，感觉案例“借”用过来的东西比较多了，理论同样如此，而真正是自己的东西很少，所以第一线实践教师的优势并没有发挥，有些遗憾和失望。如此，只能是列出目录，稍作点评吧。
第一章：本领是教师最受欢迎的本钱；
教育箴言：做知识的富豪；教法不落俗套；适当懂点幽默；精雕教学细节；锻造自己的品牌。
点评：教学本领是教师安身立命之本，凭本事吃饭是永远不会过时的。所以，教师需要永远有忧患意识，永远不断地自我学习、自我进步。
第二章：小胜凭才，大胜靠德；
教育箴言：正直使人充满希望；善良是世间最感人的力量；师无信不立；别太把自己当回事；做以德服人的表率。
点评：做德才兼备的老师，仅仅有教学本事还不够，需要有崇高的师德，包括正直、善良、诚信、谦虚、谨慎等等，不仅要做学生的表率，也能在同事间处理好关系。师德需要修养，是在工作中慢慢培养起来的，当然每个老师先天本性起决定作用。我们需要做的是在这个基础上更上一层楼。同时，更需要时时处处自律，举头三尺有神明，不是说说而已，教师的一言一行其实都是有人关注的.。
