记得我们在绿野村军训时，周教官总是一脸严肃，就像是一个魔鬼，只要某一个动作稍微不对时，教官就会罚我们绕整个绿野村跑一圈的，那是多么可怕的事情呀，所以我们不敢马虎。训练场上，周教官永远是一副严肃的表情，目光像锐利的尖刀一样向四周射去，不时发出阵阵洪亮的声音：“向左转、向右转、向后转、原地踏步走，一二一、一二一。。。。。。”一遍又一遍的重复着，每当我想稍微偷懒时，只见锐利的尖刀射来了，那军人特有的眼神，让我心里一阵惊慌，不敢有丝毫的怠慢，真像是二战时期赫赫有名的巴特将军，我们当面都称他为“魔鬼教官”。在训练中，我们最喜欢听到的.一句话是：“完成这个动作，就可以休息了，但是做不好就不行！”，那个时候，我们都会竭尽全力，争取做得最好，因为我们不知不觉地已被军人的坚强意志感染了。
军训是残酷的，但休息时候也是最高兴、最轻松的。有一次休息时，周教官走进了一间小房间，我和王庭烨等几个同学想去看看他在干什么？我们悄悄地往里一看，只见周教官抽起了烟，我们本想告诉他抽烟有害健康，可是我们刚想跑进去，他的烟已抽完了，害得我们没有证据，我心想：一定要想办法找出你的证据来，让你知道吸烟的危害，可是一直没有机会。到了最后一天，他在我们面前又抽起了烟来，终于被我们逮个正着，王庭烨急忙高兴地说：“周教官露出狐狸尾巴了，露出狐狸尾巴了。”周教官一听赶紧把为烟放在背后，他笑着说：“在哪儿？”“在后面！”我们异口同声地说。他又把烟放在了地上，做着鬼脸，把手伸出来说：“哪儿呀？”“在地上！”我们大声喊道，顿时大家不约而同地笑一起来。原来严肃的周教官还那么会开玩笑呀，让我知道了军人的另一面，紧张背后的轻松愉快。
离开绿野村时，我们向周教官挥手道别，周教官满脸笑容的和我们挥手，那一刻，我的心中恋恋不舍，魔鬼般的教练此时是那么的亲切，心里涌起了无限的感谢。这是一段终身难忘的军训，尽管很累，但我很高兴，这一切太值得了，既磨练了我的意志又让我懂得了军人的坚强，又有了一段和军人一起生活的经历，那是多么的可贵啊！
“团结就是力量，力量是钢！力量是铁！……”永远回荡在我的耳边。

the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.
then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.

Hopefully you have a career in the medical field, maybe doing research in genetics. Gwynn will be a computer programmer and you will be doing alright for yourselves.
However, if things don't go according to plan for you, I wish you all the love, happiness and joy in the world and don't settle for anything less than the best since that is absolutely what you deserve.
