它是中华民族伟大的革命先行者孙中山先生的陵墓。中山陵的主色调为青白两色，象征着青天与白日，从里而外流露出古朴与典雅。再往前走，就来到了碑亭，整齐的台阶向上延伸，踏上台阶，虽然有些陡，可每一步都非常踏实，每走一步，心中的爱国情怀也就愈发热烈，因为，一代伟人就长眠于此地啊！
走在南京的街道上，最具有代表性的莫过于路边的一棵棵行道树——法国梧桐了。这里的每一棵法梧都苍翠遒劲，弯曲的树干沉稳而不张扬。
