记得去年刚开学，就在二年级同学中挑选演员，准备在校庆时表演“中国功夫”，我光荣地入选了，当老师叫到：“耿宗泽”时，高兴得我一蹦三尺高，从那以后我们进行了几个月的艰苦训练。
每天早上我七点准时到校，舞蹈老师教我们基本动作。每个动作都要反复练上几十遍，或者是上百遍。开始同学们都很认真，吴老师一声“压腿”，大家都用自己的 身子使劲下压。不一会儿豆大的汗珠流下来了，可谁也不叫一声苦。渐渐地，时间长了感到腰酸，腿疼，有些顶不住了，真想找个机会不练了。
一天早晨起来，我头有些疼，便对妈妈说：“妈妈，今天早上我不想练了，您给我请个假吧。”“孩子，做事要有毅力，不能半途而废。”妈妈说得是对的。“走，妈妈，别迟到。”说完，我背起书包让妈妈带我去。
经过严冬酷夏的考验，我终于熟练地掌握了“中国功夫”的每一个动作，几次排练都非常成功。艰苦的训练锻炼了我的身体，使我更健康了；它又磨练了我的毅力，也让我学会了做事有始有终。
人民大会堂校庆“中国功夫”的'表演给我带来了快乐，我知道成功演出是我们每个同学用辛勤汗水换来的。今天我终于懂得了台上十分钟，台下十年功的道理。我还要坚持锻炼下去，用健康的身体去迎接2008年在北京举行的奥运会。
