even if such a catastrophe would not happen, there would be a great temperature difference on the two hemispheres of the earth, and the four seasons of the year would no longer occur because a day and a night would be as long as a whole year instead of 24 hours. all this would greatly affect the life of human beings, imals and plants and that would cause worse results than anything imaginable.

小草的生命平淡无奇，不用任何人浇水、施肥，只要有一把泥土、一束阳光就能茁壮成长。
到了夏天，小草的生命力越发旺盛享受着草长莺飞的欢愉。但是，夏天的毒日头有些无情，恨不得把绿色烤焦；那热浪一样的风也有些残酷，恨不得把小草连根拔起，而小草不动声色地依然坚强，好像什么事都没有发生。狠心的夏天终于请来了一场狂风暴雨，风雨中，尖刀般的雨点拼命地刺到小草身上，把他们***得东倒西歪。大雨过后，有的.小草被打折了腰，有的身无力气地趴在了地上，不过，他们没有也不会放弃，在灿烂阳光的召唤下，一个个很快地站立起来，挂着雨珠的绿草更加旺盛、清新。
几个月后，秋天已临。树上的叶子和庄稼渐渐变黄，好多生命似乎到了尽头。可是，就是在败叶的脚下，还有一些青青的芳草，这也许是一年中的最后一抹绿色了。也有一些小草变黄了，但他们并没死，依然在冷风中挺立着直直的腰杆，像永垂不朽的战士。他们以大无畏的精神迎接寒冬的到来，大树已经道光叶子，光秃秃的，雪花飘落，再看大树的脚下，仍然可见那一丝丝的绿。小草们笑了：冬天已经来了，春天还会远吗？

吸引读者的`原因可能存在以下情况：
运用比喻、拟人等修辞，或化用诗句、成语等，生动、新颖、别致。
运用问句的形式（设问、疑问句；含“为什么”、“什么”“为何”“？”等词语、符号）设置悬念。
话题新鲜奇特，超出人们认知常识。
引用热门话题，贴近生活。比如“低碳生活”“世博会”等。
?注意事项：
① 一篇文章的标题不一定能涵盖所有这四个作用，所以在答题的时候，切记不要盲目罗列，
要具体问题具体分析。
② 答题时，不要只简单地罗列四句作用，而应该联系具体的说明内容，以及标题运用的手法进行分析，否则只有空洞的套话，会导致严重失分。
