“五一”节假日和炎热的夏季即将来临，每位父母都希望自己的孩子健康成长，而假期和夏季是溺水、食物中毒、传染病、火灾等事故的高发期。为了让孩子们度过一个安全愉快的假期和夏季，希望各位家长能积极配合学校做好孩子们的安全教育和各项安全防范工作。
一. 要加强对子女预防溺水的安全教育。要向子女讲清楚私自外出游泳的危险性及可能导致的严重后果;教育自己的子女不要在江、河、海、溪流、水库、水潭等不明水域游泳;不私自或擅自结伴外出游泳或到水边游玩，如发现其他孩子私自外出游泳或水边游玩，要及时制止，并向其家长或学校老师报告;如要学游泳，必须经家长同意，在家长或悉水性的成年人的带领下进行;教育子女在夏季风雨天和洪水爆发时注意过桥、行路安全。
二. 加强对孩子食品卫生教育。不买腐败、霉烂、变质、有异味或超过保质期的食品，不喝生水、不吃生腌海鲜、未洗净的蔬菜水果及畸形变色食物，不宜多吃卫生部提醒的以下10种食物：松花蛋、臭豆腐、味精、方便面、葵花子、菠菜、猪肝、烤牛羊肉、腌菜、油条，不要让家养宠物接触食品，杜绝病从口入。如发生食物中毒或传染病疫情或隐患病史(如心脏病应及时向学校通报。
