早上7点钟整，我准时来到小区，朋友已经到了，她们向我招招手，喊道：“喂，快点！我们快点开始吧！”“知道了，来了！”我微笑着说。我们开始慢跑起来。跑了还没有半圈，我就已经跑不动了。我停了下来，气喘吁吁。再看看两位朋友，也都停了下来，弯着腰，手扶着膝盖，腿微微弯曲，大口地喘着气。一个朋友断断续续地道：“我们走走吧，太累了。”我们两个马上点头表示同意。
这时候，另一个朋友妈妈跑着过来了，旁边跟着朋友的弟弟。朋友的妈妈在我们的旁边停了下来，语重心长地讲：“跑步最重要的是坚持，只有坚持了，才可以锻炼出一个好的体魄。”说完，带着小弟弟跑着走了。我们三个互相看了看，然后默契地跑了起来。这次，我们没有停下来，累了就想想朋友妈妈说的话，就又跑了下去。跑了三四圈，一个小时就过去了，尽管感觉很累，可上去的时候却是说说笑笑的，好像根本不累一样。我们约好了，明天还会下来锻炼，以后会天天坚持！

I remembered my mathematics was just mediocre at that time, but he was extraordinary and excellent in calculating and solving mathematic questions. He often received perfect scores. Of course, I wished I could reach at his level. Since we talked all day long, I asked how he could solve those difficult questions. He was so patient and polite to answer my sometimes ridiculous thinking. Gradually, I built my confidence at mathematics and finally passed the college entrance exam.
Now, we are apart, but I still remember his great attitude and willing in study. I am so obliged to my classmate, who is my friend always and forever.

One day, Paula and Richard decided to make a kite.
First they went out and found two straight sticks of the same length. They brought them back home and tied them with a piece of string into the shape of a cross. Then they took some string and used it to tie the four ends of the sticks together. Then, they spread some brightly coloured paper over the frame and glued it around the string.They stuck a tail made of paper to one of the corners, and tied a long string to the centre of the kite.
On the next windy day, they took the kite to a hill near their house and flew it.
