记得那是春节后的一个晚上，我跟着爸爸妈妈去食为天大酒店吃美味。横过山东路，来到酒店二楼的一个房间，叔叔阿姨和三个姐姐早到了，我边问好边坐下，伸手就想拿筷子。妈妈碰了碰我的`胳膊：“洗手了吗？”我转身走出房门，来到洗手间。
洗手间里没有一个人，但中间的那个水龙头却哗哗地流着，似乎开心地不得了。一定是坏了，关不上，不然怎么会开着呢？就用它吧，我把手伸过去，先冲，又抹上洗手液，然后反复搓好。开着就开着吧，我并不在意，接着把双手伸向了旁边的烘干器。正在我享受着暖风烘***惬意时，哗哗的水声却戛然而止了。
我回头一看，原来是一个男孩关掉了水龙头。他看上去七八岁的样子，上身穿一件黄色的套头衫，下身是一条蓝色的牛仔裤，胖乎乎的脸上是一双明亮的大眼睛。他见我在注视他，冲我一笑，露出两个好看的酒窝。我一时不知如何是好，呆呆地愣在那儿。看他轻轻地拧开旁边的一个水龙头，用细细的水流洗起小手，直到他洗完手，跑开了，我才回过神来。我这才发现，刚才洗手的那个水龙头的上方，“节约用水，人人有责”的绿色大字标语非常醒目。奇怪，进来时我怎么没看见？我的心一颤，感觉被刺痛了！
走在回房间的路上，我没有像来时那样连蹦带跳。我忽然意识到自己做错了，即便是水龙头真的坏了，也要试一试，哪怕将它关紧一点，少流一些水，何况水龙头不一定是坏的呢！
从那以后，每每看到开着的水龙头，我都会跑过去把它拧紧；每次洗手，我都会把水龙头开小一点。因为，那个关掉水龙头的男孩已深深地印在我的脑海中，他用行动告诉我，节约用水，从我做起；他用微笑告诉我，文明是举手之劳，是一点一滴，文明就在我们每一个人的生活中。

Dear Zhang Hong,
How is everything with you I hope things are going well.
There is not much news here.I just go to work every morning and come back to my apartment every night.Shanghai is crowded with people,but I don't really know any of them.I don't like the city,but my job is quite interesting,and the pay is quite good.
What are your plans for National Day If you don't have anything special,I hope you can visit Shanghai.Come and share my apartment.It is quite large and it is near the theatres,museums and stores.
Write soon,and say you can spend the holiday here.
