再比如，以某种工艺或物品为写作素材，在确保广泛积累相关素材的基础上，找出此素材与中心勾连紧密之处，作为升华主旨的契合点。在文章的思路设置上，则以时间为轴展开续写。依据“走近该物——细致观察——设疑思考——解疑再品——升华主旨”的思路，或托物言志，或借物喻人。若欲以植物入文，亦可参照此法。
