月光洒在了大地上，让幽静的大地多了一份祥和。路边的路灯忽明忽暗，像是太困了，有点想睡觉了。树上的猫头鹰在“咕咕”地叫着，伴随着风吹动叶子的“沙沙”声，成了一首歌。这首歌有些凄凉，唱出了夜晚的幽静。星星也有些困倦了，它们不停地眨巴着眼睛。好像想在眨眼的一瞬间，天就会亮，然后它们就可以睡觉了。夜晚的风充满了寒意，它吹响了窗边的风铃。“丁铃铃……”的声音回荡在城市中。

城市的夜晚是美丽的。草地上一个连着一个的草坪灯，就像黎明时天边的点点晨星，在云雾中若影若现。无数的草坪灯组正了一个个美丽的图案，有星星，有月亮，有水鸟，有昆虫，还有；灌木丛里的灯更是多得出奇，走一步，都会看到一个闪着黄绿色的霓虹灯，把灌木丛照得亮堂堂的；音乐喷泉的灯光更加光彩照人，水柱上下飞舞，灯光此起彼伏，水滴四处飞溅，灯光龙飞凤舞，有时还飘来一阵水雾，灯光也会打到人身上；路边的路灯，如同一位位提灯人，提着星星，为别人照亮前面的路。
城市的夜晚是嘈杂的。川流不息的车辆，如同潮水一般涌过来、涌过去，车飞驰的声音此起彼伏。有时，堵车了，喇叭声、叫喊声、叫骂声混合在一起的声音震耳欲聋。在楼上，经常要听楼下吵架，一吵就吵通宵，吵得我一觉睡不到大天亮。

五颜六色的霓虹灯照亮了夜晚的黑暗，有闪烁的灯光、有耀眼的广告牌、有火树银花、有旋转的灯箱……抬头仰望天空，月亮虽然没有往日那么明亮，但依然有几颗星星在调皮地眨着眼睛，像是在陪伴孤单的我一起回家。
走着走着，不远处传来了动听的音乐。噢，原来前面广场上一群老年人正在跳健身舞。他们围成一个圈，伴随着音乐，轻轻地扭动着身体。虽然动作不是那么强健有力，但每个动作都非常到位，非常整齐。一点也不逊色于年轻人的舞姿。他们的身影为夜晚的城市增添了一份欢乐、一份色彩。
不知不觉到了小区门口，再看楼下的门面房，小吃店、食品店、服装店、理发店……顾客进进出出，家家生意兴隆。
这就是城市的夜晚。人们忙了一天的工作，到了晚上，终于有了闲暇的时间，全家一起出来聊聊、逛逛，放松心情。等到夜深了，人们又该好好休息，迎接明天的工作了。这里又变成了一片宁静。
