开始读这篇文章时，我还以为这篇文章是描写花生的呢！读完以后，我才知道，这篇文章是写“父亲”教导“我们几个”做人的故事。“父亲”说，花生外型虽然不好看，但它很有用，对人有好处。花生一般不易发现，只有扒开土才能找到。所以，做人就要做有用的`人，不能做只讲体面而对别人没有好处的人。
正因为如此，许地山才写道：“花生做的食品都吃完了，父亲的话却深深的印在了我的心上。”是啊，这句话同样也深深地印在了我的心上。古代有许多奸臣、小人，他们都是依靠甜美的嘴、华丽的外表来博得皇帝的喜欢，而他们阴险歹毒的一面往往表现在对待比自己身份低贱的人身上，这种人最可恶了。
相反，像花生那样的人往往对上司说话都是直言、忠言，对低贱的人是好上加好。比如：三国时期的庞统，虽然相貌丑陋，做的好事（有益于别人的事）数不胜数。历史上也还有许多像花生那样的人。所以，我下定决心，长大后要做一个具有花生品质的人。

轻轻地翻开语文书，品味书中的美味佳肴，我无意中翻到了《落花生》这一课，课文主要讲了作者家的后院有一块空地，打算用来种花生。经过几个月的悉心照顾，居然收获了！作者请来了父亲来品尝自己的劳动成果，他们坐在亭子里有说有笑，父亲又给“我们”讲了许许多多的道理的一件事。
读完这篇课文，我受益匪浅，知道了花生那默默无闻，不图虚荣，不炫耀自己，毫无怨言，为人民服务的精神，也让我想起了班上的一位成绩不是很好的同学。
他总是默默无闻的帮助别人，从来不炫耀自己。虽然自己的成绩很不理想，但是他从来不会忘记帮助别人，还是那样默默无闻，就像落花生。
啊！我不禁赞叹，花生那总是为别人服务的精神真值得我们学习。现在社会上的人越来越多了，但是像花生那样的人多么少啊！
如果一个人去违背自己的良心，去偷、去抢、去绑架是多么可耻的事，所以我们要学习花生的优点、精神，这才是一个真正的中国人。
