当今社会，金钱、地位成了人们的向往，什么亲情、感情对他们来说一文不值！而《简爱》所展现给我们的正是一种返朴归真，是一种追求全心付出的感情，还有作为一个人应有的尊严。它犹如一杯冰水，净化每一个人的心灵。我异常喜欢《简爱》中的一句名言：难道就因为我一贫如洗，默默无闻，长相平庸，个子瘦小，就没有灵魂，没有心肠了——你想错了，我的心灵跟你一样丰富，我的心胸一样充实！
我期望大家明白钱只是浮云，金钱能够能够买到很多东西，却买不到亲情、友情、感情！
