什么是“温室效应”呢？这是“温室气体”进入大气层，因为它具有隔热和吸热的功能。它在大气层中增多的结果是形成一种无形的玻璃罩，使太阳辐射在地球上的热量无法向外层空间发射，结果是让地球表面变热起来。
为什么会产生“温室效应”？由于人口急剧增长，工业迅速发展，呼吸产生的.二氧化碳，石油等燃烧时产生的二氧化碳越来越多，又由于对森林的砍伐，大量的农田被建成工厂，破坏了植被，减少了将二氧化碳转化为有机物的条件。再加上地表水域的逐渐减少，降水量大大降低，减少了吸收溶解二氧化碳的条件，破坏了生成与转化动态的平衡，就使大气中的二氧化碳含量逐年增加。
“温室效应”的后果又是什么？它可以使海平面上升。这样低地被淹；地表水和地下水盐分增加，影响供水：生态平衡遭到破坏，许多生物物种加速灭绝。
我们怎么样去减少“温室效应”给我们带来的危害？我们在日常生活中，随手关灯，节约用电。出门可以坐公交车或骑自行车，能步行更好，以节约汽油的消耗量，减少二氧化碳的排放量。

2063年4月12日
50年后的今天，我已从12岁的少年变成了白发苍苍的老年人。而我现在的职位便是宇宙资源协会的会员。而就在今天，会长向我们发出了一个公告：全球将停水一个月！我把这个消息一散布，立马引来了地球的公民的议论。“这是真的吗？会不会是假的啊？”一个人不以为然，笑笑说。另一个皱着眉头，一脸深沉:“我看不像，这种玩笑开不得，更何况，宇宙资源协会没理由骗我们啊，我还是先回家接水得了，那一个月可难熬了哦！”说完，便匆匆赶回家去。有的人像第一个人那样以为只是个玩笑，便一笑置之，而更多得人则是像第二个那样跑回家接水，毕竟，要真是停水了，那可是人命关天的事啊!
不久之后，人们终于意识到了事情的严重性，纷纷跑去超市买水。可那时，超市的老板早已把水藏了起来，生怕自己以后没有水喝。而那些人见超市里没有水便大吵大闹起来，甚至有人拿起锤子往超市的门砸去。我惊呆了，人至于这么自私么？以至于为了几瓶水打起来……、
第一个星期，几个接过水的人还挺得过去，不少人还自我安慰：不就停水一个月嘛，就四个星期，四个星期很快就过去了的。一些没水的人都抱怨：真该死，以前有这么停过水么？还不让人有个心里准备。还有一批人说：哎，这什么时候才是个头啊？不过，这也不能怪别人啊，停水前，我还白白倒了一盆水……
第二个星期，大部分人接的水都已经喝光了，和我一起工作的一个老者把这一切都看在眼里：“要不——給他们派点水？不然，他们活不过三个星期的”
我摇摇头，果断地拒绝:“不行，我们的水太少了，不够他们生存，如果只派发需要的人，那么一定会有许多人来抢水，这样一来，事态就更糟了，这件事以后再看吧！”我深深地叹了口气，要不要把事情的真相告诉人们呢？
停水仅仅过了三个星期，就有许多人奄奄一息了，有的人还到乡间去，希望那里有水源，可他们一个个都徒劳而返，无一例外。乡间的小溪都被污染成了黑色，要么上面浮了一层绿色的浮毛，看得人一阵恶寒……
一些大老板都后悔莫及：当初怎么会办一些工厂，没有那些工厂，水资源就有不会这么匮乏了，没有汽车尾气的肆意横行，又怎么会有酸雨破坏水源？那些人们都已经知道错了，可现在后悔又有什么用呢？
我看到了这个场面实在不忍心，想马上派水给他们，可会长说：“不到情况非同一般时不能派水，水来得太快只会让越来越多的人走进深渊……”我止住了派水的冲动
到了第四个星期，有人开始抱怨天气为什么不下雨——以前他们都巴不得天晴，人们开始想方设法地找水源喝。以前开玩笑的人也笑不起来，他们深知自己以前做过什么，更有的人抓着闹钟不放，想看着还有多长的`时间才来水。甚至有的人已陷入了昏迷，整个世界一片死气沉沉，花草叶枯黄，没有以往生机勃勃的模样。我望着天上火热的太阳，快了，快了，只剩下一个下午就可以来水了，希望他们是真的意识到自己错了，不然地球真会毁于一旦……
太阳渐渐落山了，不仅我期待着，全世界的人民都在期待着，真的快了！真的快了！“嘭”——水龙头里马上蹦出了清澈的水，全世界的人民都争先恐后地跑向水龙头，猛地灌起水来。喝完之后擦了擦嘴，看了看水龙头里正在流淌的水，突然想到了什么，立马关了水龙头。
这时，电视上出现会长的声音；“各位地球上的居民们，我相信你们这一个月都过得非常不好吧，你们的所作所为我都看在眼里，我可以很明确地告诉你们你们现在的一切都是你们自己造成的，现在的一个月时间里，我向你们营造了一个没有水的环境，为的是让你们意识到水是多么地重要。好了，我的话也说完了，祝你们以后生活得愉快，保护环境，爱护水源，节约用水。”
我是知道这个计划的，其实地球并不是因为某种原因才停水，而是因为会长要人们养成保护水源的这个意识而计划的。不过，这个计划起到了很大的效果，从此人们知道要保护环境，节约用水了。

Last autumn we took a trip to Qianshan by bus. It is about thirty miles from the city. We planned to put up in a hotel there in order to watch the sun rise the next morning.
As soon as we got there, we began to climb up the mountains. How great the sight is! We felt as if we had entered amother world full of beauty, peaeefulness and loveliness. There are hundreds of mountains, one after another. there are magnificent cliffs, one above another. We climbed up vigorously and breathed the fresh air greedily. As the sun was going down, we descended to a little hotel at the foot of the hill, where we had a big dinner, and then went to bed early so as to regain the energy ior the expedition next morning.
Before daybreak, we reached the peak of the highest mountain after a hard groping and climbing in the dark. Unaware of the cold wind, we stood motionlessly, with our eyes fixing at the hr end of the east. Suddenly thin ravs of red hue spread across the sky. As the redness deepened, some mysterious clouds moved across thc sky, dividing heaven from the earth. Just at this moment, up from the brightening far east rose the sun. It was so red and yet so tender that we could gaze at it with naked eyes. and a slight applause from us. the amazed spectators, rang through the peak. Up, up it rose, adding to itself strength and glory at every step. It dazzled with vigour, driving away darkness, cold, and misery from the earth, and bring light, warmth, and happiness to men.
We were completely amazed at the wonder and the greatness of nature. We jumped and shouted like innocent children and we bathed in the first rays of the sun with the peak till it was time for our return.
千山秋游
去年秋天我们乘公共汽车去千山游玩了一次。它距城市大约三十英里。为了第二天早晨看日出，我们计划住在那儿的旅馆里。
我们一到那里就开始爬山。那里的景色太美了!我们感到好像进入了另一个世界，一个充满美丽、和平和可爱的世界。那里有数百座山峰鳞次栉比：有壮观的悬崖层出不穷。我们精力充沛地向上攀登，贪婪地呼吸着新鲜空气。当太阳下落时，我们来到山下的一家小旅店，在那里美美地吃了一顿晚饭，然后早早地上床睡觉，以便恢复精力第二天早晨远征。
天亮前，我们经过在黑暗中艰难地摸索和爬行到达了最高的山峰。我们一动不动地站在那里，双眼凝视着远处的`东方，连寒风也没觉察到。突然间，薄薄的红光在天空中散开，随着红色加深，一些神奇的云朵在天空四散，把天地分开。正在这时，太阳从远处东方的光亮处升起。它是那样红，然而又那么娇嫩以致我们可以用肉眼来观察它。从我们吃惊的观赏者中发出的一阵轻微的欢呼划过山峰，太阳升得越来越高了，每升一步都给它本身增加了力量和光辉。它炫耀着威力，驱走了黑暗、寒冷和大地的苦难，并给人们带来光明、温暖和幸福。
这一奇观和大自然的伟大使我们完全惊愕了。我们像天真的孩子一样跳着、喊着，和山峰一起沐浴在太阳的晨曦中，流连忘返。
