清晨，我睡不着觉，看窗外那美丽的大自然，我入迷了，连忙起床，准备去寺庙的后院感受大自然的气息。我慢跑着来到一座寺庙，我悄悄的走进去，不忍心打破这样宁静的美，有一个和尚在扫地上的落叶，他见我进来了，就点点头，我报之一笑，来到了寺庙的后院。
那一片竹林，竹子绿得清翠，底下有一些花，虽然不是什么名花，但这些花儿们以他们独有的粉彩绽放着，毫不吝啬地为竹林增添几分美感。这一片鸟语花香的景色带着我远离城市的喧闹。看见有一条小路，我不由得沿着这条小路走，边走，心中有一种奇妙的感受，像是走上探险的道路，又像走进了童话世界。我走到了尽头，看见一走房子，那房子很简陋，但令人心旷神怡：房子的周围都种满了花花花草草，好不热闹！
花草旁边是用竹子做的篱笆。这时，一缕阳光照到了我身上，鸟儿叽喳的歌唱，转身一看，有一个水潭，那水十分清澈，底下的石头多能看到，阳光散落在上面，折射出金色的光辉，十分动人。
我看着这水潭，发现了一张天真无邪的笑脸，我突然感到释然，这不仅是美景意义上的“世外竹园”，更是人的精神得到放松的地方。这儿没有城市的嘈杂，没有商家的讨价还价，也没有官场上的明争暗斗，我蹲下身子，思索着，万物都静悄悄地，似乎也正思考着，只有钟声在我的耳畔回荡。
