The popularity of smartphones has exerted great influence on the way people communicate, so much so that an increasing number of individuals contend that face-to-face communication is being replaced by texts and images on the mobile phone.
There are more than one angle to consider this phenomenon. On one hand, it is pleasantly acknowledged that smartphones shorten the distance between families and friends. Even people from different sides of the globe can share pictures, feelings and thoughts through various types of apps on the phone, thus building a long-distance connection. Statistics show that over 70 percent of face-to-face communication consists of facial expressions and body language, which is why people should stay away from mobile phones when they have the chance to actually talk and communicate with others.
In a word, mobile phones act as an appropriate platform where people can always stay in tough however long the distance is, but a wise man should know when to put down his phone.

杨柳的枝条是向下垂着的，好似姑娘们刚刚梳洗过的缕缕青丝。春风拂过，披着鹅黄嫩衣的杨柳，摇摆着轻柔的枝条，婀娜多姿地舞动身躯，呤诵催耕曲。它们的腰好软啊，轻风将它们的下梢一齐托起，姿势整齐而好看。默默之间，又刷得垂下了，仿佛小女孩们披散的长发。
站在路旁，放眼望去，这一株株柳树就像一个个新娘，头上垂挂着一串串碧绿的珍珠，迎风飘扬。
明媚的春天到了，春姑娘给垂柳脱去灰白的衣裳，又换上了淡绿的外套，让绿色的翡翠的云飞上枝头让轻柔的枝条婆娑起舞。那柔嫩的枝条像许多纤纤细细的小手愉快地接爱春姑娘的抚爱，它时而随着春姑娘跳起婀娜多姿的舞蹈，时而垂直地向地面表演着精彩的杂技，每个动作似乎都在向给它生机的春姑娘表示感激之情。“有心栽花花不香，无心插柳柳成荫”。虽外表柔柔弱弱却有着极强的生命力。仅凭一根柳条儿便能存活下来，真不容易啊。
我们人也应该这样，要在奋斗中求生存发展，永远不要停止奋斗，一旦停歇，你等于在毁灭你自己一生美好的前途。

Recently, there is a popular saying: the world is so large that I want to have a look! As more and more people travel around during their holidays, tourists have brought large sum of money to the local people.
However, too many tourists also bring some problems to the local life. The most serious problem is the pollution caused by the uncivilized tourists. It’s reported that there were thousands of tons of rubbish left after the flag-raising ceremony on Oct. 1st. The uncivilized tourists left their rubbish wherever they go, polluting the local environment. Another problem is the traffic jam caused by so many tourists.
Tourist can promote the economic development of the local areas, but the pollution caused by those uncivilized tourists has brought severe problems. The local tourist authority should set up relative laws to protect the environment of the local areas, and every tourist obey the laws and help to make the places of tourist more beautiful!
