三年多前，我在一家民营电台任职，台内有位同仁剽窃友台的节目，从访问到主述，全部完整播出，且该节目还获“新闻局”每集6000元的委制经费。我写了一封检举信到“新闻局”。没想到“新闻局”竟然把信寄回公司。接着电台老板带着那位被检举人，亲往“新闻局”解释。
可想而知，老板脸上无光之余，要炒鱿鱼。幸得爱护我的长官保荐，方得苟延残喘下去。
被打成“黑五类”的日子不好过。与“被害者”有私谊的同业一见到我就满脸不屑——“告密者”，我的'脸上写了这三个字。而同事们也在我的身后议论纷纷。
只因为一封我自认为动机单纯的信，使我的人格、私德全部打了个大叉。
我真的错了吗？难道不必付出、坐等收获者，可以永远捡便宜？现实社会难道没有公平正义？在那最无助的时刻，支持我的是知我甚深的几个姐妹。大家在数落了我这傻大姐的糊涂作为后，仍以无比的同情及爱心做我的后盾，让我在晦暗的工作阴霾下，仍得以看见丝丝亮丽的阳光。
而我，既然检举别人的作弊，自己更要行事端正才行。于是我加倍努力跑新闻，上山下海，勇往直前，不敢有丝毫怠惰。大约一年后，当初向着“被害者”而对我不齿的同仁报我以亲切的笑容，也不吝于与我交换新闻了。
令我欣慰的是，他们都承认我当初的看法没错。那位被检举者待人接物的势利现实，一如阳光下的融雪，终至底层裸露，让人看清楚。那一天，我好高兴，原来真理只需等待时间的试炼而已。
后来，奇迹发生，我入围了金钟奖的新闻采访奖。对南部小电台来说，这是极大的荣耀。入围名单揭晓，当初保荐我留下的长官立刻跑到教堂谢恩，而我则快乐地流下了辛酸的眼泪。
这样的际遇也许算不得东山再起，但是从人格被否定、到怀疑是非公理何在、以至兢兢业业的日子，最后终见到友谊的双手与成功的果实，心路历程颇为辛酸。
回首前尘，时间真是个神奇的魔术师，经它过滤，没有人可以伪装而不被发现。任何对错、是非，一一接受考验——我那鲁莽却真实的检举信即是如此。
